About the Role:
Join Raydal Hospitality as a Commissary Utility Person and play a vital role in our culinary operations! This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about food preparation and kitchen cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and ensure all ingredients are prepped and ready for cooking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
- Wash, sanitize, and store kitchen utensils, equipment, and dishes.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff in various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to management.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies.
- Participate in training and development programs as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
